MILLSBORO, DE – August 14, 2023 – Warrior Community Connect (WCC), a Delaware based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local wounded veterans and their families in Delmar is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, warriorcommunityconnect.com, to build awareness for the organization’s mission, programs, events, and partnerships in the local community.

As visitors navigate the newly designed website, imagery of local veterans, their families, and caregivers, engaging in community events, demonstrates the true mission of the organization, to nurture and strengthen the resilience of the warrior community and empower them to heal and thrive in today’s world.

“Our D3 project manager, Karlee, was very professional, diligent and always has a great demeanor about her,” said Walt Ellenberger, Warrior Community Connect. “When she wasn’t around there was always backup support to ensure continuity with the D3 team.”

“Walt and Connie Hurlburt, a wounded veteran caregiver, were very involved with the progress of the website which we always welcome from clients,” said Jay Bosley, chief operating officer at D3. “They wanted to learn about our process, the functionality and how things worked on the back end so he and his team would easily be able to make updates to annual events and programs on the site moving forward. Warrior Community Connect has a mission we were excited to get behind and has been a great partner to work with.”

The website features a customized “Warrior Events” section on the home page with interchangeable imagery and graphics that the Warrior Community Connect team can edit and replace with new events throughout the year. The site’s home page layout provides easy navigation for visitors through visually engaging buttons that link them to Donate, Volunteer, Partner and Register for events.

“Overall, the new website is creative, feels good and was exactly what we were trying to accomplish. It truly shares the spirit of our mission,” Ellenberger added.
